For this session we will be exploring the impact of New York City on the development of 20th century minimalism and avant garde music. Featuring music by Meredith Monk, Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Laurie Anderson, Moondog, and more. As always, pristine vinyl recordings and short spoken introductions in an intimate setting.

The session will open with a special live piano performance byGeorgina Lewis playing the John Cage piece ‘In a Landscape’.
